Gary Russo is a Florida Attorney who has been telling children's stories for over thirty years. A graduate of journalism from the University of Florida (UF), he went on to receive his doctorate in law from UF while his wife, Cathy, taught elementary school.  Presently working in the children’s ministry at Family Church in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Gary is affectionately known as Mr. Donuts - a wacky, fun loving, prize giving character in the children's ministry.  To his children and his children's friends he is known as and referred to as Pop.

Gary and his three children have endeavored to bring God into others lives through the stories and lessons of Ziggy the Prayer Girl.   Gary and Cathy have been married for 41 years and have 6 grandchildren (so far!): Boone, Vivienne, Athan, Oliver, Zekiah, who also goes by “Ziggy" and Amelia.
